Day 6: Drive to Sparta WI

Ever heard of Sparta, WI? No, thought so... But that's where we ended up today. Just a stop over on the way to Minnesota. Anyway, we found out that this area is really beautiful, close to the Mississippi River. We drove to La Crosse, right by the river, and tried to get on a river boat. But the schedule was wrong, and we missed it. So instead we found a beach. Yes, a beach. Right by the Mississippi River, look at the photo. After some time there, we spent some time in the hotel bar, talking to locals. They said that Sparta is famous for its bicycle trails.
